There don’t seem to be many places which explain a simple way of doing this, so I thought I’d share my quick and dirty method. This tutorial assumes that you have a good understanding of both WordPress and Javascript. I don’t have time to offer support in any way on this method, sorry.

You should refer to the isotope.js documentation, as this shows you better than I can about how to use this script correctly.

My own suggestion would be the following:

create a subdomain something like: http://subdomain.yoursite.com
install wordpress on the subdomain
make a back up of your main site as it is
restore the back up to the wordpress on your subdomain.
